The first location puts you directly downtown, and when we went, there was a baseball game downtown. I found that it was sooooo well worth it, and I would highly recommend this tour to anyone! Initially I felt like this was very expensive, since it's more than I would usually spend on a ticket for a fun thing, and I was hoping it would be worth it. Folks at the buildings we went into all knew her, and literally opened locked doors for us when we got there. I loved that on this tour we got to go inside buildings, and see places that Dildora had access to. I am extremely impressed at how well she was able to balance so many things at once to provide a wonderful experience for the group! ![]() Dildora also takes the time to answer questions based on each person's interests, including recommendations for restaurants and other things to see and visit. The pace of the tour was just right, not too fast nor too slow, and I liked that there were breaks where we sat down and just talked while we looked at the interesting things around us. This tour was part looking at beautiful, amazing architecture and design, and part learning about the history and sociopolitical landscape of Detroit. ![]() ![]() Dildora was so incredibly knowledgeable about all things Detroit, and she shared her knowledge in a very conversational and personable style. ![]()
